The Phoenix Suns raced out two a 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference finals without Chris Paul, but the “Point God” is back.

The Suns have officially listed Paul as available for Game 3 on Thursday night in Los Angeles after CP3 missed the first two games of the series due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. He'll make his series debut against the Clippers.

This is a huge boost for the Suns especially coming off their dramatic, buzzer-beater victory over the Clippers in Game 2.

The Suns will hope Paul can help lead the team to an insurmountable series lead, while the Clippers have to search for answers as they face a 2-0 deficit for the third straight series.

Paul has been remarkable for the Suns all season, finishing fifth in the NBA MVP voting. He has been every bit as good in these NBA playoffs. Will the Clippers get a taste of his excellence?

The 36-year-old is averaging 15.7 points, 8.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 10 contests with the Suns. He has displayed his typical excellence as a midrange scorer, shooting 52 percent from inside the arc on nearly 10 two-point attempts per contest. Paul began the Denver Nuggets series with consecutive double-doubles in points and assists, including 15 dimes in Game 2. He then scored 37 points in the closeout game.

The Suns have managed just fine in Paul's absence. Devin Booker had a historic, 40-point triple-double in Game 1. Cameron Payne has filled in admirably for Paul and been a thorn in the Clippers' side.

Paul is back for the Suns and has a chance to essentially put a dagger in the hearts of Clippers fans who were never able to see CP3 get over the hump when he was in Los Angeles.
