The Phoenix Suns ended the New York Knick's nine-game winning streak on Monday and this was thanks in large part to another tremendous performance by Chris Paul. The 11-time All-Star put the Suns on his back late in the game as he drained a couple of clutch shots to close out the contest.

CP3 nailed a tough floater all over the defense of Julius Randle in this sequence as Paul put an end to New York's hopes of a comeback (h/t Dime on Twitter):

The degree of difficulty on that shot is just insane. Randle played outstanding defense on Paul, and the Suns point god was already off-balance when he came up for that jumper. After a flurry of crossover moves, Paul rose up to drain the fadeaway floater just as the shot clock expired. All net.

The Knicks got the better of Paul in the first half of action, but he made sure to make up for it after the break. CP3 finished with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting to go along with five boards, six assists, two blocks, and two triples in 34 minutes of play.

New York was the hottest team in the league coming into this one, but Paul and the Suns doused some cold water all over the Knicks' hot streak.
