If you're a Phoenix Suns fan, anti-LeBron James, or despise the Los Angeles Lakers, you're probably ecstatic at the stunning first round upset that just took place. But nobody on the planet wanted this more than Chris Paul.
Chris Paul dealt with a shoulder injury that threatened his availability, but still managed to battle adversity and return to overcome their Purple and Gold adversaries. It's not surprising that Suns All-Star was the loudest voice in the locker room as the team celebrated their victory.

Paul was vocal about how things had come full circle for him. CP3 had previously played under Suns coach Monty Williams during his final year with the New Orleans Hornets back in 2010-2011. They were bounced in the first round by, you guessed it, the Los Angeles Lakers, then led by one Kobe Bean Bryant.
Now exactly 10 years later, Chris Paul and Monty Williams were able to get that monkey off their backs against the very same franchise that ended their first partnership.
Chris Paul and the Suns deserve to celebrate their butts off after dealing LeBron James his only blemish out of 15 first-round matchups. But CP3 will be the first to tell you that they're far from finished.
