Chris Paul dealt with a shoulder injury that threatened his availability, but still managed to battle adversity and return to overcome their Purple and Gold adversaries. It's not surprising that Suns All-Star was the loudest voice in the locker room as the team celebrated their victory.

Paul was vocal about how things had come full circle for him. CP3 had previously played under Suns coach Monty Williams during his final year with the New Orleans Hornets back in 2010-2011. They were bounced in the first round by, you guessed it, the Los Angeles Lakers, then led by one Kobe Bean Bryant.
