With scoring machine Devin Booker already taking the bulk of the perimeter offense for the Phoenix Suns, the team drafted big man Deandre Ayton with the 1st overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Suns will be relying on Ayton to wreak havoc inside the paint and challenge the defense of big men around the league with his tremendous inside and outside game. The upcoming NBA season is still a couple of months away, but the prized rookie seems already excited about his matchup with Philadephia 76ers center Joel Embiid.

Panini America is one of the best-selling industries in sports collectibles and merchandise. Recently, the company let Ayton get creative in drawing on a sketch card. The rookie hilariously drew himself posterizing Joel Embiid with a dunk—an obvious counter against the Sixers big man's remark against Ayton through his Twitter account.

While they are yet to play a basketball game against each other, this exchange is the start of a potential rivalry between the two young centers. After being saddled by injuries in his first couple of years in the league, Embiid had superstar-worthy numbers last season and averaged 22.9 points, 11 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Along with rookie Ben Simmons, Embiid led the Sixers to a second-round finish in last year's postseason, ending the team's six-year playoff drought.

Meanwhile, Deandre Ayton will look to lift the Suns to playoff contention as he partners with Booker to create one of the best offensive duos in the league. In his one year with Arizona, Ayton averaged 20.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. His abilities on the defensive end still have a lot to work out, but his unique set of offensive skills could make him one of the top big men in the league right now.
