Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker went nuclear in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks as he made his way to join Wilt Chamberlain in the playoffs history books.

While it all went for naught after the Suns fell to the Bucks, 109-103, Booker's performance is still one for the ages. After all, he just recorded his third 40-point game in the playoffs, which is the second-most for any NBA player in their first career postseason.

Chamberlain also has three, while Rick Barry still owns the record with five, per Stat Muse.

Devin Booker finished the contest with 42 points on an efficient 17-of-28 shooting. While he missed all three of his 3-point attempts, he was particularly effective from the  free-throw line where he made eight of his nine attempts.

Unfortunately for Booker, even his hot shooting wasn't enough to push the Suns to a 3-1 lead. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton came up clutch for Milwaukee, with the latter even matching Book with a 40-point outing himself.

As for Giannis, he made 26 points and pulled off unarguably the play of the night with an epic block on Deandre Ayton that gave Milwaukee all the momentum they need.

While Booker would certainly prefer the win over the individual accolade, the good thing is they have a chance to bounce back when they return to Arizona. Hopefully, he treats the home fans with another explosive outing and a win.
