The Minnesota Timberwolves just handed franchise cornerstone Karl-Anthony Towns one of this biggest deals in the history of the league. The 22-year-old Wolves star took to social media to share his joy and reinvigorated commitment to the Wolves franchise.

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was one of the first to congratulate Towns for the well-deserved max deal worth almost $200 million. However, the Suns guard also followed up his congratulatory message with a hilarious shot at Towns' recent jackpot.

Booker jokingly asked Towns to let him “hold a million or something,” seeming to imply that a million dollars is just a tiny fraction of Towns' multi-hundred million dollar deal. Booker has a point, though. While a million dollars is more than enough money to spend for a lifetime for us simple folk, it's actually just a very small portion of Towns' $190 million contract — merely 0.53% to be exact.

For his part, Booker also had a very profitable summer himself. In July, the 21-year-old put pen to paper on a $158 million, five-year deal with the Suns. However, Booker is still currently on his old deal and is set to earn just $3.3 million this season. His new contract kicks in by the 2019-20 season in which he is set to take home a cool $27.2 million.

Nonetheless, Towns is still the big winner here. His five-year, $190 million deal translates to roughly $38 million per season. This is $6.4 million more than Booker's $31.6 million per year. Poor Devin.
