Back in January, New York Knicks big man Enes Kanter threw down some serious trolling on the Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker on Twitter.

Several months later, Booker retweeted Kanter's message but not without a more savage clap back. This comes after the Suns beat the Knicks in New York, 128-110.

Booker has been a bright spot for the Suns — when healthy, at least. Following Monday night's win, he's averaging 24.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 42.8 percent from the field.

Devin Booker became the Suns’ de facto primary ball-handler thanks to the lack of a point guard. He’s quick off the dribble and has a variety of finishes with both hands going at the basket. He has a strong pull-up game that he goes to consistently. The 3-point shot needs more consistency, but he needs an actual playmaker alongside him for those percentages to rise.

In the loss, Enes Kanter tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block. He's been a steady source of production for the Knicks all year long — a consistent double-double machine. However, his shortcomings on the defensive end are well documented, especially when he's left out on an island against quicker opponents.

Recently, the Suns have made national waves for their owner allegedly threatening to move the team to Seattle or Las Vegas if he doesn’t get the public funding he desires. Though it has been shot down and refuted by the organization, worry still remains.

The Suns are 6-24 on the season and are last in the NBA’s Western Conference standings. They play next against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday evening.
