The Phoenix Suns will be without their star shooting guard, Devin Booker, for the fourth straight game when they face the Golden State Warriors tonight, according to Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic.

Booker has been bothered by hip and rib injuries, limiting his ability to be on the practice floor for the past week-and-change after suffering a hip pointer against the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 4, noting he won’t play until he’s 100 percent and not prone to aggravating the injury.

The Suns will play one more game before the All-Star break, facing the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. If Booker is still sidelined by then, he’ll have a full 18 days to heal before the Suns take the court again on Feb. 23 against the L.A. Clippers. Yet the marksman isn't a fan of taking it easy just for the sake of rest.

“I’ll never sit a game if I’m able to play,” Booker said. “I feel like that’s bad karma to the basketball gods if you do. If I’m ready I’m going to play.”

Booker is slated to be part of the 2018 JBL 3-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend, but given the state of his hip and rib, even a shooting motion could prove problematic for the third-year guard.

The 21-year-old said he can run and jump but hasn’t tried to turn or make cuts during practice.

Booker is averaging career-highs across the board, putting up 24.1 points on 43 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this season.
