Team USA is dealing with some roster issues after some early exhibition struggles, with Bradley Beal and Kevin Love now out of the Olympics and Jerami Grant in health and safety protocols. JaVale McGee and Keldon Johnson were just selected to replace Beal and Love, and it's unclear if Grant will be able to play. The good news is Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker still plans to suit up in the Olympics when the NBA Finals are over.

Booker spoke to the media Friday ahead of Saturday's Game 5 and addressed his Team USA status:

Booker, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are all currently on the roster for the Olympics. An NBA Finals Game 7 would be on July 22, with the Opening Ceremonies then happening on July 23. Team USA's first game is against France on July 25.

That's a ridiculously short turnaround time for those players, but it seems Booker is still all in on representing his country in Tokyo. Who knows just what these guys will have left in the tank if they do indeed stick with Team USA for these Olympics, but you have to at least admire their dedication to the squad. It would be easy to just wrap up the Finals and take some time off for the summer.

Booker and the Suns will return home for Game 5 of the Finals on Saturday. Their 2-0 lead is totally gone, and they're going to have to buckle down on their home court in order to get the advantage back in this series.
