The Phoenix Suns are getting ready and on deck for their Western Conference Finals matchup as they await the winner of the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. On the other hand, with the Tokyo Olympics around the corner, NBA players have made their decisions on joining or opting out of the games. Suns young guard Devin Booker has made his commitment to the Olympic team and is teaming up with Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, among others.

Booker joins a talented group that includes Bradley Beal, Draymond Green, Jayson Tatum, and Damian Lillard with more coming soon.

However, Team USA has also recruited Suns point guard Chris Paul, although his decision is still up in the air.

With the long, grueling season and the shoulder injury to Paul– not to mention the COVID-19 issues– it feels like Paul won't participate, although no such decision has been made as of yet.

What is most important is for the Suns to find a way to continue their deep playoff run, although Team USA would like commitments sooner rather than later.

Paul's decision likely won't come for some time, but for now, Booker has decided to join and the players already on Team USA are dangerous enough to be considered favorites to walk away with a gold medal.
