Earl Watson served as the head coach of the Phoenix Suns for three seasons between 2015 and 2018. As it turns out, the 42-year-old himself had quite a “traumatic experience” during his time in Phoenix. Watson's admission comes amid the scandalous allegations that are currently being hurled at team owner Robert Sarver.

Watson, who is now an assistant coach with the Toronto Raptors, came out with his own statement addressing the bombshell report that was recently published by ESPN wherein Sarver was utterly depicted as racist and misogynistic (h/t Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports):

Watson did not provide any details about his experience, but he did confess that it has had a “profound effect” on his character as a human being. The former Sus coach also said that he intends to speak more openly about this issue at a later time.
