The Phoenix Suns have announced that Frank Kaminsky has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right knee and will be out indefinitely.

Kaminsky was having an impressive season playing at the four and five positions for the Suns. He was averaging 10.6 points per game on 44.5% from the field while adding 4.6 rebounds per game.

Phoenix is having another incredible season after losing in the NBA Finals last season to the Milwaukee Bucks. They're on an 11-game winning streak and are 12-3 on the season. They have the second-best record in the NBA behind the 14-2 Golden State Warriors.

Luckily for Phoenix, they made a move to acquire Javale McGee this offseason so he can play some more minutes in Frank Kaminsky's role. They're going to need a serviceable power forward or center when DeAndre Ayton is not on the floor and McGee can be just that.

It is unclear when Frank Kaminsky is going to make a return but Phoenix is hoping that they can get him back soon so they can be fully healthy again. What he's been able to do in his bench minutes has been key for the Suns' early-season success.
