Phoenix Suns guard Jamal Crawford has been getting buckets in the NBA for what seems like decades. That's likely because since the 2000-01 year, Crawford has not only been racking up points, but doing so in the niche role of coming off the bench. On Saturday night, he passed Dell Curry to move into second place on the all-time list for points scored as a reserve.

Curry started the 2018-19 season still atop the list, but Clippers guard Lou Williams passed him for the top spot earlier in March. Williams and Crawford have been inextricably linked throughout their careers, and not just because they have both spent time as members of the Los Angeles Clippers — the duo have both claimed the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award on multiple occasions, with Crawford earning the honor three times and Williams twice, although the latter appears to be closing in on the trophy again this season.

Crawford delivered eight points off the bench Saturday for Phoenix in order to reach the mark, giving him 19,289 points throughout his career. The 6.4 points per game that Crawford has averaged this season are his fewest since his rookie campaign back in 2000-01. Having just turned 39 years old, he still has his role as a bench scorer, last starting a game for the Clippers during the 2016-17 season.

Whether or not this season is his final swan song in the league that he has called home for nearly two decades, Crawford has etched his name into the record books as one of the elite bench scorers in history.
