The NBA kicked off a rather busy Saturday schedule with its most hyped game of the day, as Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons made their way to Staples Center for a matchup with the L.A. Clippers. Of course, plenty of eyes were peeled on the game and that included the Phoenix Suns' Jamal Crawford.

Crawford reacted to a highlight of Griffin issuing his signature thunder jam on his former team. The sixth man extraordinaire, to no one's surprise, was appreciative of the play.

Jamal Crawford could not be more on point with this one. Blake Griffin muscled his way through L.A.'s defense en route to 44 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, and one block. He made 13 of his 23 attempts from the field.

Crawford and Griffin go a long way as both players were teammates with the Clippers for five years. During that span, the team was highly-touted as the next great Western Conference power. However, the roster that also boasted of Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan failed to make it past the second round of the playoffs.

In 370 games for the Clippers, Jamal Crawford averaged 15.3 points and 2.6 dimes on 35 percent shooting from long distance. On the other hand, Blake Griffin normed 21.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.0 steal per game.
