Phoenix Suns veteran Jamal Crawford has seen a significant decline in his production this season. He's currently averaging only 6.4 points per game while shooting 36.5 percent from the field, numbers that are way lower compared to his career production of 14.7 points on 41 percent shooting.

Crawford has been tagged as one of the best scoring reserves throughout his 19-year career. However, it seems that most people believe that it's time for the 38 year-old guard to retire from basketball, as it is pretty obvious that he will not win a title with the Suns.

However, in a recent interview, Crawford made it clear that he's still planning to play next season.

This seasons, the Suns signed Crawford to a one-year deal, and his main role is to serve as a locker room leader and a mentor to team's promising young core of Devin Booker, De'Andre Ayton, and Josh Jackson. Still, he's not been able to help Phoenix win games, as they have the worst record in the Western Conference at 11-50.

The Suns are currently on a 17-game losing streak.

It is unclear if Crawford will remain with the Suns next season. The team is lottery bound and is expected to get one of the top three picks in this year's draft, which they can use to land a collegiate star like Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett or Ja Murant.

If Phoenix won't re-sign Crawford, then one of his options is to sign with a contender, so he can end his career on a winning note.
