After dropping their first three games of the season, the Phoenix Suns finally entered the winning column on Monday, as they won a squeaker over the Sacramento Kings, 117-115. The victory certainly gave their fans a lot of reason to be happy about, and also made their veteran forward, Jared Dudley, proud of all his teammates.

The 32-year-old Boston College product did not waste time in making his thoughts known about their win on the night through his Twitter account right after the game. Dudley made a series of tweets that showed how he feels they were already due for a win, and that the Suns responded very well amid all the negative news surrounding the team these days.

As if their slow start to the campaign wasn't enough, the Suns made a lot of negative headlines when they fired Earl Watson as head coach and eventually replaced him with former Team USA assistant Jay Triano, and the controversial tweet Eric Bledsoe made that has been interpreted as his request to be traded from the team, hence a flurry of ensuing trade rumors. The odds were stacked against them to end their slide to start the year, but they were still able to come out victorious on Monday, which showed a sigh of resiliency from the team.

With a victory in the bag, the Suns will now look to start a winning streak when they host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday inside Talking Stick Resort Arena. They may not be projected to win lot of games this year, but with veteran players like Dudley and Tyson Chandler mentoring their young core, they may just be able to surprise a lot of people if they can string a few wins together, which could lead to more success for them as the season progresses.

All is not lost for the Phoenix Suns with an eternity of games that are yet to be played.
