Jarrett Culver is gaining strong interest from teams which are picking outside of the top three in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Jarrett Culver is considered by many as one of the most intriguing prospects in the draft. According to Jake Fischer of Sports Illustrated, it appears the former Texas Tech standout has a preferred destination. Culver is reportedly interested in starting his NBA career in Phoenix.

The 20-year-old guard reportedly worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers are now out of the picture after trading the fourth pick to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans were initially linked to Culver, but they also moved the pick to the Atlanta Hawks.

There was a good chance Culver will land with the Suns, but the Phoenix trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves — swapping picks No. 6 and 11, with Dario Saric headed to the Valley — has complicated that scenario.

Based on an interview during the NBA combine, Culver was really intrigued about the possibility of joining Phoenix despite the team's performance in the past two seasons.

“They have a lot of great players,” Culver said via Duane Rankin of AZ Central. “D-Book. Great young guys over there in Phoenix. I know if I was there, I could fit in with the young guys and being able to play and make an impact on the game.”

The Texas native spent two seasons with the Red Raiders. In his sophomore seasons, he posted 18.5 points on top of 6.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
