The Phoenix Suns have the worst record in the Western Conference and could get the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Duke star Zion Williamson is expected to be the first pick in the 2019 Draft. Suns small forward Josh Jackson says the high-flyer would “fit right in” with Phoenix if the Suns were able to get Zion.

“Zion Williamson is amazing, a really good player,” Jackson wrote in his latest Diary entry for The Undefeated. “He has to keep working on his game and keep building. He’s special with his potential and with everything he can do. He’s superathletic. When I look at him, I see so many things he can add to his game. Adding a few fundamentals will take him over the top.

“We haven’t talked about him being with the Suns next season. But if it happens, we would welcome him with open arms. He’d fit right in.”

The Suns had the No. 1 overall pick in last year's draft. The organization selected big man Deandre Ayton.

If Phoenix was able to get Williamson, they would have a young core of Devin Booker, Ayton, Williamson and Jackson. That would be one of the most athletic young cores in the NBA.
