Former NBA veteran JR Smith had quite the reaction after hearing Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been snubbed for this season's All-Star game on Tuesday night. He took to Twitter to voice his reaction and made sure that everyone knew Booker was deserving of a spot in the Western Conference All-Star reserves.

Like the two-time NBA champion, many people were also puzzled after knowing that Booker failed to make the team. However, his numbers do speak for themselves as he is currently averaging 24.7 points on 50.1% shooting from the field along with 3.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 26 games this season.

Meanwhile, his teammate in Chris Paul was selected to his 11th All-Star selection with tallies of 16.6 points on 48.5% from the field along with 4.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists in 29 appearances.

Players who completed the list of the Western Conference All-Star reserves include Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George, Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans sophomore Zion Williamson, and the duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert from the Utah Jazz.

The 24-year-old shooting guard will have to play the waiting game as Davis is expected to miss the event due to calf and Achilles injuries. Booker is projected to earn a call-up as an All-Star replacement in light of the absence of Davis, though nothing is certain as of the moment.

Devin Booker's solid play along with his contribution to the Suns' huge turnaround is definitely worthy of an All-Star selection this season. Hopefully, he will get the recognition that he deserves and will finally gain respect from the league moving forward.
