When LeBron James did not react publicly to Chris Paul making the NBA Finals with the Phoenix Suns, there were assumptions they were secretly beefing or that the Los Angeles Lakers star is just not happy. However, as CP3 revealed, that was not the case at all.

Speaking to the media on Friday ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks, Paul revealed that he has been in communication with James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony — his Banana Boat brothers. While they have exchanged messages, though, there is nothing “dramatic” in them:

So there we have it. While it was weird for LeBron James not to react on Chris Paul's momentous achievement after winning the Western Conference Finals, it's probably because he knows the job is not yet done.

For what it's worth, the Lakers star was absolutely hyped when Paul and the Suns won Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals, even taking it to Twitter to begin the countdown for Paul.

Unfortunately for the Suns, they lost two straight in their trip to Milwaukee, tying the series at 2-2. Should the Suns win Game 5 at home once again, it is probably best to watch out for LeBron's tweet on the game.

Paul is yet to win his first NBA championship, and there's no doubt LeBron would be one of the first people to congratulate him should he achieve it this time around.
