The Phoenix Suns have decided to sign shooting guard Shaquille Harrison to a 10 day contract, according to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. To make room for Shaq on their roster, the Suns are expected to waive Josh Gray, who recently signed a pair of 10-day contracts with the team.

After going undrafted in 2016, Harrison, spent some time with the Suns' G-League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns, where he quickly made a name for himself. The 24-year-old former University of Tulsa standout has played in 36 games for the Northern Arizona Suns this season (seven starts), racking up averages of 11.0 points on .464 percent shooting from the field (.321 percent from beyond the arc), 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.9 steals.

Perimeter shooting, ball-handling, court vision, and solid defense are just a few of Harrison's calling cards.

The Suns, now the 5th-ranked team in the Pacific Division standings with a 18-41 overall record, have been mired in a funk for much of this season. In fact, they've lost seven straight games. Their first shot at improvement comes on Friday night, as they're scheduled to host the L.A. Clippers inside Talking Stick Resort Arena. Tip-off is set for 9:00 p.m. EST.
