The Phoenix Suns have waived two of their training camp invites, forward Anthony Bennett and guard Peter Jok. The team announced the moves on their official Twitter account.

Bennett, 24, was the former No. 1 overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2013 NBA Draft. However, he has failed to establish himself in the NBA. He’s played for four different teams in his four years in the league.

Bennett has career averages of 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 151 games. He played 23 games for the Brooklyn Nets last season before getting waived in January. He spent the remainder of the season with Turkish club Fenerbache, but played sparingly and was released and the end of the year.

Anthony Bennett accepted a training camp invite from the Suns, but he didn’t play a single preseason game for them. He also wouldn't have had much playing time this year even if he did make the roster for the Suns, who have recent lottery picks in Marquese Chriss, Dragan Bender, T.J. Warren, and Josh Jackson all ahead of him on the Suns' forward depth chart.

Meanwhile, Peter Jok was undrafted in this year’s draft after graduating from Iowa. The 23-year-old, who averaged nearly 20 points in his senior year with the Hawkeyes, was also unable to earn any playing time with the Suns in the preseason. However, he is likely to play for the Suns’ G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns, this season.
