While the playoff-bound teams are fighting tooth and nail for postseason positioning, there is another ongoing battle involving the teams that are in the bottom of the standings. Up for grabs is the highest odds to select the best player available in the upcoming NBA Draft and Sunday night saw the Phoenix Suns claiming the most number of ping-pong balls.

With their 117-100 loss to Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors, the Suns now have a 25 percent chance of selecting top overall in the draft. Phoenix now has a record of 20-61, which is the second-worst win-loss mark in franchise history.

The upcoming draft class isn't short on talent at the top, giving the Suns a very good problem at hand. The favorite to go number one overall is center DeAndre Ayton. Pairing him with Devin Booker is an enticing possibility, having a young one-two punch that is brimming with potential.

However, there's no sleeping on Luka Doncic too. The international sensation has taken over Europe with his multi-faceted arsenal that is topped by a feel for the game that is well beyond his years. Phoenix can still end up with a lower pick, obviously, but the options are not too shabby within the top three or four.

Names like Marvin Bagley, Mo Bamba, and Jaren Jackson are as exciting and the Suns' rebuild is only going to be fast-tracked when the Adam Silver announces their selection on May 15.
