The NBA league office has fined Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren $15,000 for “directing inappropriate language toward a game official,” according to Jeff Zillgitt of USA TODAY Sports.

The incident took place with 1:44 left in the second quarter of Monday's 123-119 overtime loss to the L.A. Clippers. Warren received a pair of technical fouls in a span of three seconds for arguing a call, resulting in his ejection after posting a mere six points in the first half.

T.J. Warren was coming off a five-game absence due to right ankle soreness and played only 12 minutes before his eventual ejection from the game.

The Suns managed to force overtime despite playing without Warren and star shooting guard Devin Booker, the two highest-scoring players in the team.

Phoenix has now dropped 10 straight games and own the NBA's worst record at 4-24, likely headed for another big-time shot at another No. 1 overall selection in next year's NBA Draft.

T.J. Warren (17.4 points, 4.0 rebounds per game, 43 percent from three) has been one of the few positive lights of yet another underachieving season, flooded by injuries, poor fit and an outright lack of organizational direction after the firing of general manager Ryan McDonough right before the start of the regular season.
