Phoenix Suns center Tyson Chandler just accomplished what only 39 players before him did in all of NBA history.

Chandler picked up his 10,000th career rebound in Sunday's loss against the Indiana Pacers. He went into the matchup needing only 11 rebounds to reach the feat.

The official Twitter account of the Suns gave its public congratulations when Chandler secured his 11th rebound.

Chandler has played for many NBA teams throughout this career. This is his 16th season in the league, and he is currently 35 years old. In other words, Chandler is as grizzled as they get.

This season, Chandler is averaging 9.8 rebounds. He has averaged 9.4 boards in his career. And throughout the majority of his career, Chandler has not fallen victim to many serious injuries. He's been out there for the most part, getting himself ample opportunities over this career to pick as many rebounds as possible.

The fact that Chandler has cemented himself in NBA history is remarkable. Any time a player breaks some sort of threshold, it's natural to think back to their career and reminisce just how long they've been in the league.

For the Suns veteran, he has played so long that it's easy to forget he's still in the league. His best season may have been in 2010-11 when he was instrumental to the Dallas Mavericks winning their only championship in franchise history.

Over the last three years, he has embraced his role with the Suns, but it's easy to see that Chandler isn't the same player as he was earlier in his career. Chandler's NBA playing days are coming to an end, and it's great to see him achieve such a milestone before he retires.
