It's still not quite a certainty what the Phoenix Suns will do with the No. 1 Draft pick later this month.

DeAndre Ayton is considered the favorite by most to get taken with that pick and it does seem like the Suns are leaning in that direction.

Of course, a team can always trade a pick and the Suns may receive some intriguing offers for it. Will they listen is the question.

General manager Ryan McDonough had this to say:

“We'll reach out and see if there are teams that want to blow us away with an offer because I think in this draft we’d be comfortable picking a little lower than that. But I don’t want people overreacting to that comment. I think that’s unlikely.”

It makes sense that the Suns will at least keep the option on the table. Maybe some team will surprise them with an offer they may actually consider.

It will take a lot though, even though there aren't really any players guaranteed to transform a franchise in this draft, although that's almost never the case anyway.

It will be interesting to see what the Suns end up deciding.
