Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker is the hottest basketball player on the planet, and he continued his stellar play on Thursday against Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and the Dallas Mavericks.

Booker put Kidd-Gilchrist in the torture chamber with some nasty footwork and a ball-fake to get free for the nasty slam for the Suns.

Booker entered Thursday averaging 26.6 points per game on the 2019-20 season. The All-Star has taken his game to another level in the Orlando bubble at Walt Disney World. Booker is putting up 31.0 points a night and his Suns on the brink of snapping a long playoff drought.

The Suns have to defeat the Mavs to keep their playoff hopes alive. Phoenix is trying to qualify for the play-in game and needs the Portland Trail Blazers or Memphis Grizzlies to lose later.
