Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has been keeping himself busy this season both on and off the court. Recently, the 23-year-old made a cameo on Drake's new music video for his track entitled “Chicago Freestyle.”

There you have it folks. Drake has successfully recruited Booker for his beloved Toronto Raptors, and the official announcement should be soon underway. After all, there's no reason at all for an NBA star to feature in a renowned hip-hop artist's music video unless these two were cooking something up, right?

We're obviously kidding here, and this is nothing more than Booker jumping at the opportunity to do an extremely brief cameo on Drake's latest track. Maybe the Suns were in town when the shoot took place, which explains why in the world Booker is in this music video.

All jokes aside, though, Booker will be in Phoenix for a very long time, after the 6-foot-5 shooting guard signed a five-year max extension with the Suns in 2018. Right now, he is in contract with Phoenix until the 2023-24 season, and will be earning some good money over the next few years.

Unfortunately for him, though, the Suns continue to struggle in a ruthless Western Conference. They have shown some improvements this year, but still currently sit near the bottom of the conference with a 24-37 record.

To be fair to them, this would actually be a pretty good record if they were in the East, as they would be battling for a playoff spot right now. This is obviously not the case, however, so Booker and company will need to take the next step if they want to become competitive in the West in the years to come.
