Shaquille O'Neal doesn't hold back — especially when it comes to his exchanges with Charles Barkley. According to the part-owner of the Sacramento Kings, the Kings are not only better than the Phoenix Suns — but Phoenix also “sucks.”

The verbal back-and-forth took place on “Inside the NBA.” Barkley, who happened to play for the Suns during his career, made sure to take some jabs at the Kings. O'Neal didn't take too kindly to that, as he proceeded to take a shot at the Phoenix' place in the Western Conference standings.

Check out the quotes below.

Shaq: “Don't talk about my Kings, talk about your Suns.”

Chuck: “I'd rather have the Sun's roster than Sacramento's roster. I bet you that.”

Shaq: “So why's y'all record worse than ours?”

Chuck: “We're just growing.”

Shaq: “Y'all suck. Y'all suck. We three games out & y'all ain't ever getting in.”

O'Neal is right — the Kings are 3.5 games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the final spot in the playoff picture. Meanwhile, the Suns are in 13th place, but they're just 4.5 games back with a 24-35 record. In other words, there isn't much of a difference between these two fledgling franchises.

Both franchises have the longest playoff droughts in the NBA. The Kings' last playoff appearance was during the 2005-06 season. Meanwhile, the Suns' last playoff appearance was during the 2009-10 season.

While O'Neal and Barkley can debate which franchise is worse off, the bottom line is this — they're both not good.
