The San Francisco 49ers managed to get the ball at the start of Super Bowl LIV, and they have already thrown down their gloves thanks to a fantastic play by Deebo Samuel. The 32-yard gain from the fantastic play saw the Niners gain a great edge on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL posted a video of the big play, and it was a perfect call by Kyle Shanahan.

The play was made to look like a two-receiver play with a run meant for Tevin Coleman. The entire defense was also anticipating a run from the middle as they saw Jimmy Garoppolo giving the ball to the 26-year-old running back.

What they didn't account for was Samuel making a sweep from the left to the right. The defense, who were playing zone, were caught off-guard by the cheeky play.

Thanks to this play, they now find themselves in the Kansas City half. This is a good start for the Niners, and they hope that the good times will keep on rolling in Super Bowl LIV.
