The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a slow start while starting Super Bowl LIV with a quick three and out. However, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got things turned around in a hurry while veteran wide receiver Sammy Watkins certainly helped out a bit along the way.

With the Chiefs already leading the opposing San Francisco 49ers by the score of 7-3, this throw and catch from Mahomes to Watkins ultimately set up more points for Kansas City. Thanks to this leaping grab from Watkins, the Chiefs would go on to kick a field to extend the team's early lead to a solid seven points.

Despite starting the game with a dud of a drive, the Chiefs have now scored on back to back possessions en route to taking a lead. With the 49ers kicking a field goal to start off the scoring, it has since been all Chiefs in this department.
