T1 revealed its bid for competitive Overwatch earlier today. The stacked new lineup features seven talented OW players as well as seasoned veterans in the coaching staff. T1 plans to field its new team in the upcoming season of Overwatch Contenders Korea.

Activating the agents

The organization made news multiple times in recent weeks as it looked to finalize rosters for League of Legends, Dota 2, and Valorant. T1 enjoys a massive following thanks to their dominant performances across multiple titles. It comes as to no shock that they now turn to Overwatch but the results will have to back the hype up down the line.

The newly-formed team features a mix of amateur and professional players but they will all be fighting under the legendary T1 banner from now on. Zest and Kadalis both hail from Contenders team Oz gaming. Clestyn and Krillin most recently played for London Spitfire as starting players. Unique logged in tournament time playing under Element Mystic through many wins. DPS MN3 joins T1 as one of the most iconic players in the role across the Overwatch scene.

T1 sought the help of two former Overwatch League players to serve as staff for the fledgling team. Blizzard Entertainment made no official announcement yet regarding the next season of Contenders but T1 is undoubtedly ready. The tournament is expected to kick off sometime this Spring.
