Tactics Ogre Reborn has not been officially unveiled or acknowledged, but Square Enix isn't being too careful about the game leaking.
Tactics Ogre Reborn first emerged as a new trademark applied for by Square Enix, and now the game itself has appeared on the PlayStation Network with the same name, with new artwork and title card, confirming once and for all that the game is real, and is coming to the PlayStation Store.
However, we do not know a lot of details about the game yet, as the game's appearance on the PlayStation Network only contained placeholder text apart from the title and the artwork, and hence does not give much new information about what we already know so far. What we know so far isn't much either, except that Tactics Ogre Reborn will possibly be a remake of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together or a reboot. Quite honestly, we don't know anything – not a price, not a console (whether PS4 or PS5), nor a release date.
The appearance of Tactics Ogre Reborn on the PlayStation Network might be great news for many players, especially tactical RPG fans who loved Final Fantasy Tactics and Triangle Strategy. However, it's still disappointing not to actually see the original Tactics Ogre or the remade Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together on the new PlayStation Plus Classic Catalog.
