Last week, we found out that the Resident Evil 2 voice actors will reprise their roles in the upcoming Resident Evil Netflix adaptation. That's good news all on its own. In the Resident Evil Village April Showcase, we finally saw these guys back in action. During the live stream, we finally saw a trailer for Resident Evil Infinite Darkness.

The protagonists from Resident Evil 2 returns with a new animated series that they will star in on Netflix. A new Character Trailer just dropped, where we saw Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy in action.

Set a couple of years after the events of Resident Evil 4Resident Evil Infinite Darkness sees Claire and Leon face a zombie threat in the White House. Many fans will remember how Leon bravely saved the president's daughter in Resident Evil 4. We're finally meeting this president through the Netflix adaptation. However, we'll have to wait a little longer before we get to see him because this Character Trailer was all about Claire and Leon.

Apart from these details, TMS Entertainment and Quebico have been really good at keeping things under wraps. We'll still have to wait for more information regarding the wider plot of the animated series. We also don't even have an exact release date as well apart from a July 2021 window.

Meanwhile, within the same topic of video games adapted into animated series through Netflix, Castlevania‘s fourth season will be coming soon. It returns on May 13 and will conclude the story of Alucard, Trevor, and Sylpha. There's also the DOTA: Dragon's Blood animated series that debuted last month, which also received rave reviews. For video game fans, there's a lot that we can watch on Netflix now while playing our favorite video games.
