Tales of Arise, the next entry in the prolific JRPG franchise, is hitting its release date soon. The game will come out on September 10, 2021. It will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.

Tales of Arise will feature the franchise's signature action-oriented, party-based combat system. However, this time it will come with some new features and mechanics. It will also feature a slew of open-world activities such as exploration, cooking, and fishing. The game's official website sets the scene:
“On the planet Dahna, reverence has always been given to Rena, the planet in the sky, as a land of the righteous and divine. Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom.

The game's main theme is “inheritance and evolution.” It is also the 17th game in the long-running series. Additionally, it has already been confirmed that the game will be completely standalone. It will feature no future post-release DLCs or sequels. Moreover, there will also be no crossovers with other Tales titles. Again, the Tales of Arise release date is on September 10, 2021.
