Jamie Dixon is doing something special with the TCU Horned Frogs. After having exceeded expectations in season-one with his old playing stomping grounds, Dixon is now doing work on the recruiting trail, landing 2018 4-star talent Kaden Archie.

This continues a trend of how Dixon has been recruiting — at least so far — for his 2018 class. Everyone who has so far committed to play for the Horned Frogs is from the state of Texas. There is in-state recruiting, then there's in-state dominance. Apparently, Dixon is trying to put a stranglehold on the local high school talent.

Kaden Archie is a 6-foot-6 wing out of Midlothian (Tex.) High. He picked TCU over SMU and a handful of other desirable programs. As for the timing of this commitment, it took Archie roughly a month after setting his feet on TCU's campus, as he took his visit to university the weekend of September 15th.

This actually marks the fourth pledge of the 2018 class for TCU. Archie joins fellow AAU teammate Feron Hunt, as well as Kendric Davis and Russell Barlow to make up their recruiting class.

Most reputable recruiting service websites have the wing listed as one of the 100 best high school players in the nation, as well as a top-20 forward.

The talented youngster only visited on other program, LSU, after his visit with the Horned Frogs.

He made his announcement, per 2017 law, on the mean streets of Twitter via a video package.

If only all of us could have such a wonderful life that vignettes accompanied our every decision.
