Team Secret completes roster for their Dota 2 squad ahead of the DPC 2021-2022 season start.
Team Secret slowly revealed their Dota 2 roster over the past week through a series of comics on social media. The first to be revealed, of course, was Puppey, the team captain. This was followed by Nisha, then by Yapzor. Then, iceiceice, formerly from Evil Geniuses, was revealed to be the team's new offlaner, replacing the departing Zai. Finally, Team Secret revealed the return of the king, Sumail, as the team's new midlane. As a result, Nisha is once again the team's carry.
Team Secret narrowly won the Aegis in this year's The International, losing to the eventual champions Team Spirit in the lower bracket finals. Captain Puppey remains to be the only Dota 2 pro player to have appeared in all iterations of The International. He's yet to win his second Aegis, but his goals will probably remain to be the same this season. At the age of 31, Puppey's already one of the oldest players in the league, and probably has only a few seasons left in his playing career before he retires. Apart from Puppey, Sumail is also gunning for a second Aegis this season.
