Novak Djokovic has opened up about his beautiful relationship with his fellow tennis icons Serena an Venus Williams.

With a total of 50 combined Grand Slam titles to their name, Novak Djokovic, Serena and Venus Williams have certainly proven that they are a cut above the rest. And while some legendary players from different sports don't really establish a personal relationship with one another, Djokovic and the Williams sisters are not of them.

Speaking during the presentation of Serena and Venus' inspired film “King Richard,” Djokovic, who is clearly on the same footing as the Williams sisters, admitted that he is being motivated by the pair's legacy and is “one of the millions of fans” supporting them.

“Everything they do, on and off the court, is truly inspiring,” Djokovic said of the Williams sisters via Tennis World USA. “The sport owes so much to the Williams sisters. Their perseverance is incredible. Their willingness to continue to write history books of our sport is something that truly motivates me and many others to follow in their footsteps.”

“I am one of the millions of fans around the world that they have,” he continued. “They are icons of the sport. I also consider myself a friend. I remember this one night when we won Wimbledon trophies, both Serena and I. And I dared Serena to dance with me. She was all game for it. And she's always game for having fun.”

Djokovic's statement about the Williams sisters will forever be remembered by fans as it is not everyday that superstar athletes express the same kind of love and respect for one another.
