Undefeated welterweight champion Terence Crawford is still days away from getting into the ring against Kell Brook for Saturday's highly-anticipated WBO title fight, but talk has already been rife as to who will Crawford fight next. According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, he sees Crawford taking on either Manny Pacquiao or Errol Spence.

Arum made his statement on Friday, as he hopes to make the fight happen in the first half of 2021, according to ESPN.

“The next fight is going to be, as far as I can control things, we're not going to fool around, it's going to be Pacquiao or Spence.”

Crawford, however, has to finish his business with Brook. While Brooks is the clear underdog, he could still beat the odds and shock the boxing world by defeating Crawford, who is still unblemished in 36 fights.

But should everything go according to plan, then the 33-year-old Crawford can start thinking about Pacquiao and Spence. It is only natural that Top Rank explores Bud's next steps as he continues to defend his crown as ESPN's no. 1 pound-for-pound boxer.

Ideally, Arum hopes to pit Crawford against Pacquiao first, followed by a fight against Spence. It remains unclear if these plans will come to fruition or if Crawford will end up fighting just one of them.

It is also worth noting that Pacquiao's camp earlier announced that they are in the process of scheduling a mega-fight against former UFC champion Connor McGregor. This will need to be factored in on Top Rank's plans for Crawford for next year.
