Houston Texans legend Andre Johnson ripped into the organization amid rumors Deshaun Watson is upset with management.

Johnson suggested Watson should hold firm in his desire to seek a trade, adding Jack Easterby's arrival — Easterby was brought in as a consultant by owner Cal McNair — has not yielded positive results.

The two-time All-Pro also subliminally hinted the Texans wasted the best years of his career, and he does not wish to see the same happen to Watson:

“If I’m @deshaunwatson I will stand my ground,” Johnson tweeted. “The Texans organization is known for wasting players careers. Since Jack Easterby has walk into the building nothing good has happened in/for the organization and for some reason someone can’t seem to see what’s going on. Pathetic!!!”

Another former Texans wide receiver in DeAndre Hopkins seconded the sentiment, and it was also echoed by Texans star defensive tackle J.J. Watt following the team's Week 17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Watt told Watson the team “wasted” one of the star quarterback's prime years:

Watt is another whose frustration has been pervasive this season. He clashed with former head coach and general manager Bill O'Brien earlier in the year, and he gave a fiery speech with respect to questions about Houston's effort, particularly on the defensive end of the ball.

For his part, Watson appears to be frustrated by his lack of input with respect to the team's hiring processes. However, the Texans could be looking to mend matters, as they finally requested to interview Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for their vacant head coaching position.

Still, Johnson is concerned the franchise will waste Watson's career. He advises Watson hold his ground.
