Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien knows the team has a different matchup this week going against Leonard Fournette and he knows they are going to have their hands full.

In Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, the Texans really struggled against Alvin Kamara, allowing him to rush for 97 yards on 13 carries and also allowing him to rack up 72 yards through the air.

O'Brien knows that Fournette is a different style of runner, but if let him get beyond his pads, they are going to have some issues.

“Different guys, different skillsets,” Texans coach Bill O'Brien said via chron.com. Leonard, he's a big guy. He gets behind his pads. Like I say, if you let him get going down the railroad tracks, you're going to have a problem because he's going to steamroll you.”

O'Brien is having the team really focus on gap control because he knows if they are undisciplined it's going to be a long game with Fournette running wild.

“You have to do a good job of setting the edge and playing good gap-control defense because he's a tough guy. They throw him the ball, too. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. Leonard always presents a big challenge to us.”

With Nick Foles out and Gardner Minshew under center, the team is going to try and establish the run first, but the Texans can't sell out against the run because Minshew will hurt them with his arm.

This is a big game for the Texans because falling to 0-2 with their expectations would be hard to bounce back from.
