While Alvin Kamara is ecstatic that running back Mark Ingram will re-join him on the New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks is not happy about it. In fact, he's absolutely mad the deal happened.

After reports of the trade came through, Cooks took it to Twitter to express his dismay about the news with some NSFW remarks. In criticism of the Texans, he called the deal ā€œbullsā€“tā€ and a ā€œjoke.ā€

The Texans are getting late-round future picks in return for Mark Ingram, which is certainly not the most exciting transaction though it positions the team well to accumulate assets in a rebuilding effort.

For what it's worth, Ingram seems pretty happy about the trade. On Twitter, he couldn't help but send out a tears of joy emoji alongside the Saints' symbolā€“an indication that he's excited to return to the city and franchise where his NFL career started.

With Brandin Cooks' dissatisfaction, though, it raises questions whether the Texans should trade him as well and accumulate more assets as they look into the future. As Field Yates of ESPN noted, Cooks can definitely generate massive interest from around the NFL if Houston makes him available.

Considering his $1.5 million salary and solid production so far, there will certainly be teams who'll explore getting his services.

For now, nothing is set in stone yet and Cooks could very well end up staying with the Texans. Still, fans should definitely keep an eye on Houston as the NFL trade deadline approaches.
