Houston Texans star Deshaun Watson should find himself in the middle of a tug of war among teams who want to acquire his services. But perhaps that should be the least of his concerns right now.

The embattled quarterback on Tuesday attended another deposition for the civil lawsuits filed against him. Watson, who has been cleared of criminal charges, is still facing 22 civil cases of sexual misconduct. According to the report of KHOU 11, the plaintiff's legal counsel, Atty. Tony Buzbee, acknowledged the Texans QB's improved cooperation this time.

“This was the first case where he actually answered questions. We talked about two of the plaintiffs, we have about 18 to go.”

Last Friday, the 26-year-old Watson pleaded the fifth during his deposition with Buzbee.

The report added that based on court documents, the three-time Pro Bowler contacted most of the involved women on Instagram. Buzbee said Watson deleted some of the messages, expressing confidence that his clients will get a favorable decision.

“He told us that he took it upon himself to delete them. He wouldn’t tell me when he deleted them. It comes down to credibility and I feel quite confident that the plaintiffs in this case are credible, they’re confident, they’re courageous, and I’m proud to represent them.”
Despite his legal troubles, Watson remains a hot commodity in the NFL, especially since his trade request from the Texans. Some of the teams rumored to be interested in him are the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and New Orleans Saints.
