DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, with some thinking that he is the best. While the Houston Texans have gone through a handful of quarterbacks, Hopkins has continued to rack up highlight-worthy plays and great stats, no matter who was throwing him the ball. According to the superstar receiver, no other player could do what he’s done.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio (via Pro Football Talk), Hopkins was asked if he thought he was the best receiver in the NFL.

“No argument at all, man,” Hopkins said. “I think some will try to debate it, but no receiver, I think, could put up the numbers I have with the situation I’ve been in. So for me it’s no debate.”

While some might argue it, it’s hard to go against Hopkins here. While receivers like Antonio Brown, Davante Adams, and Michael Thomas have had the luxury of playing with Hall of Fame talent at quarterback, Hopkins hasn’t. Until Deshaun Watson joined the team, Hopkins has had to deal with the likes of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mallett, Brian Hoyer, Tom Savage, and plenty of other below-average quarterbacks during his time with the team.

Thankfully for Hopkins, Watson seems to be the real deal when it comes to quarterbacks, and after a trip to the postseason, the team is looking to build off of their success. After just recently trading for running back Duke Johnson, the Texans are looking to surround Watson with a talented offense in the hopes that he can help lead the team on a Super Bowl run, or at the very least, another postseason trip.
