Houston Texans wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had problems getting touches the first few games after being traded from Denver Broncos, but that all changed on Monday night against the Tennessee Titans and the wide receiver is thrilled.

After last weeks game, coach Bill O'Brien made it clear that the team wasn't doing enough to get him the ball and it needed to change. Against the Titans, Thomas had four receptions for 38 yards and two touchdowns.

Although the yards were not that impressive, he is being another red zone threat for the Texans offense.

“It feels great,” Thomas said, via the Houston Chronicle. “Coming into the week, they were telling me they were going to get me the ball more. We took advantage of it and I got on the board twice.”

As the weeks have gone on, Thomas and Deshaun Watson have become more comfortable with each other, and they both feel that it will only continue to get better the more weeks that pass.

“It’s getting there,” Thomas said. “This is just three weeks. The main thing is being able to line up and play fast. That was big.”

O'Brien has also been impressed with how quickly Thomas has learned the new offense.

“Demaryius has done a really good job,” O'Brien said. “It's hard. You come in mid-year and you have to learn a new offense. That's not easy no matter how long you've been playing.

“I thought we did a better job with him this week. He was able to be more involved and really have a good understanding of how we were going to use him He's just an awesome guy, a great guy to coach.”
