The Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars will take part in an AFC South showdown in Week 9. For the game in London, Deshaun Watson is ecstatic to get a chance to face a talented Jaguars defense.

“They have a great pass rush, good defense, a lot of athletes, guys that play hard and it’s always a four-quarter battle when we play them,” Watson said. “So, it’s a test. We’re up for the challenge. We’re excited for the challenge.”

Despite Jalen Ramsey no longer being on the defense, Jacksonville still has a lethal defense. Above all, their pass rush is relentless and causes problems for opposing offenses.

Over their first eight weeks of the season, the Jaguars have tallied 29 sacks (third-most in the NFL). This is due to the trio of Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue, and rookie Josh Allen.

On the other hand, Watson and the Texans have been rolling offensively in the past few weeks. After giving up 18 sacks in the first four weeks, Houston has only surrendered six of them in the past four weeks.

When the teams face one another on Sunday, protecting Watson will be key for the Texans. In Watson's first three seasons, he has little to no success against the Jaguars.

Altogether, the dual-threat quarterback has combined for 734 total yards, four total touchdowns, and an interception in four games against Jacksonville. However, all four of those games came when Ramsey was lined up across from DeAndre Hopkins.

Nevertheless, Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard will have their hands full trying to slow down the persistent pass rush of the Jaguars in Week 9. At the same time, Watson will undoubtedly have something up his sleeve to combat the pressure of Jacksonville.
