Heading into Sunday night's game, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson was 0-2 going against the New England Patriots and Tom Brady. Watson has never been afraid to talk about his love for Brady and not knowing how much longer Brady is going to play the game makes the win over Brady and the Patriots even more special.

“As far as big wins, honestly, it’s pretty big,” Watson said in his postgame press conference via Pro Football Talk. “Really, just because it’s Brady. I was 0-2 against Brady. Who knows when he’s going to hang it up? That’s my role model, a guy that’s been doing it forever — over 20 years. I’m only alive for [24] years, so it’s pretty awesome to finally get one and to see the love and respect we have for each other.”

Watson has the best player on the field on Sunday, completing 18 of his 25 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Those stats are even more impressive when you consider that the Patriots had only allowed four passing touchdowns in the team's first 11 games.

As exciting as it was to get a win over Brady, it's even bigger because it keeps them ahead in the AFC South standings. The Tennessee Titans also won on Sunday so the win keeps them a game ahead.

There is a chance that Watson and Brady could go head to head again this year and that would come in the playoffs. If that does happen and Watson can come away with a win, that would be one of the biggest wins of his career.
