Houston Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt is back at practice, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Watt injured his groin last Monday during practice and the team held him out as a precaution. He didn't practice last Tuesday, and he didn't participate in Thursday's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers which had to be a bit of a disappointment.

Even though he didn't practice or play against the Packers, he did participate in the bike ride into the practice field, but that didn't well either. He snapped off the seat of the bike and ended up carrying it the rest of the way in.

“The bike that I was using was not equipped for a 290-pound man, and the seat broke off,” Watt said, via Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. “We have purchased a new bike for the boy. So, I apologize for that. . . .

“I mean, I can’t walk past a kid. That’s hard. He had a [Aaron] Rodgers jersey on, which is fine. I respect it. I support loyalty. The welcome and reception I’ve gotten since I got back here. To see people wearing my jersey, it’s pretty crazy.

Watt enjoyed participating in the tradition, especially since it was something he has watched, growing up in Wisconsin.

“It’s one of the coolest traditions,” Watt said. “Growing up here, I know how special it is to get to interact with a player from the Green Bay Packers. For them to have that tradition, where kids get to be up close and personal with their favorite players and they get to old their helmet.”

It's good news for kids bikes that Watt is back in Houston practicing, and not in Green Bay participating in that tradition anymore.
