In Week 2, the Houston Texans were able to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Although the Texans are sitting at 1-1 with two weeks in the books, J.J. Watt's health may be a concern moving forward. Watt injured the ring finger on his left hand in Week 1, and it appears to have gotten a bit worse in Week 2, via ESPN's Sarah Barshop.

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt said his finger is “pretty messed up” after he reinjured it Thursday night in the team's 13-9 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Apparently, Watt wasn't bothered by the injury until late in the game against the Bengals, via Barshop.

“It was really great until the last three plays, and then I was literally adjusting it and feeling it as I was running around and trying to chase that guy on the last play,” Watt said. “I'm honestly kind of scared to take my glove off. I honestly don't know what it looks like.”

Whether Watt's finger injury becomes a major problem in the weeks to come remains to be seen. As arguably one of the best defensive players in the league, his presence on the field is crucial to the Texans' success.

In Week 3, the Texans will have a tough task against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Houston will want Watt as healthy as possible for that contest against quite possibly the best team in the league.
