Brock Osweiler played for the Houston Texans for one season, and Jadeveon Clowney won't let that distract him from laying big hits come Sunday.

Osweiler through for 2,957 yards, 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions that season. That's definitely not the kind of production any team wants from a starting quarterback. This season, the Texans have battled back to claim the top spot in the AFC South. Clowney is only worried about rattling Osweiler when the two meet this Thursday night.

From Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle:

“He ain't here no more, so I don't really care for him,” said Clowney. “We didn't win a lot with him. Trying to go against him now, just trying to get after him this week up front and rattle him in the pocket and hope he throws a couple picks.”

Brock Osweiler is currently the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. He's just a fill in for Ryan Tannehill, who is dealing with a shoulder injury. He had a decent showing last week, but the Dolphins fell short to the Detroit Lions. The Dolphins currently sit at second in the AFC East, just behind the New England Patriots.

Jadeveon Clowney has 4.5 sacks so far this season, and he hopes to rack up a few more before Friday morning. The Texans have shown tremendous grit, but the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are right behind them. They can't afford to slip up.

The regular season is nearly halfway through, and the Texans want to be 5-3 when Week 8 comes to a close.
